Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr. Presales Engineer to lead complex Land Mobile Radio infrastructure projects from scope definition through final sale, serving as the definitive technical authority.

You will drive robust, cutting-edge designs in collaboration with sales, service, and product teams. You'll develop comprehensive system designs, perform RF coverage and networking calculations, and deliver compelling executive presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, military and/or public safety.
• Or 8+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, military and/or public safety.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures (APCO P25, LTE, 3G/4G) desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and security desirable.
• Knowledge of RF coverage predictions and traffic modeling is an asset.
• Strong written and oral communications; ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Driving all sole source & RFP projects to completion and managing team schedules
