Job summary

Veeam Software is seeking a US-based Senior Presales System Engineer for Kasten by Veeam to cover US Central and LATAM accounts. You will evangelize, position and architect Kasten K10’s cloud-native data management platform for enterprise environments.

You will lead technical pre-sales engagements, deliver presentations to technical staff and executives, collaborate with partners, and travel up to 50% to advance regional revenue goals while driving innovative technical programs.

Qualifications

• Provide technical recommendations and thought leadership to customers, partners and internal teams.
• Demonstrable sales engineering experience preferably in a software sales, DevOps or Data Protection.
• Driven – highly energetic with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach, Desire to own success.
• Core fundamentals and technical knowledge of cloud data native architectures, Kubernetes, and Data Protection (backup, recovery).
• Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and Spanish-speaking – strongly required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical leadership on Kasten’s Data Management Platform and cloud-native architectures.
• Support pre-sales activities in the US Central and LATAM, building technical relationships with customers, channel partners and ecosystem partners.
• Act as technical expert and consultant to develop solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Deliver technical and sales presentations to customers' technical staff and senior management.
• Lead account and partner collaboration to support sales objectives and leverage corporate resources.
• Lead technical sales calls and qualify opportunities based on technical requirements, competition and funding.
• Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars and user groups.
