Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company is seeking a Principal Presales Systems Engineer to drive pre-sales activities for complex networking and security solutions. The role emphasizes translating business goals into technical architectures, influencing C-level stakeholders, and delivering compelling demonstrations and PoCs.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in technical pre-sales, deep Juniper/networking expertise, and strong presentation skills, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in WAN, Data Center, Security, and Cloud tech solutions.
• Experience with designing/engineering/consulting on large WAN/backbone networks.
• Deep knowledge of Juniper product line and related vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical consultation in design, engineering, sale, and implementation of products and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams and partners to assess applications and provide optimal solutions.
• Respond to RFP/RFQ/RFI and create viable proposals to grow Juniper business.
• Develop architecture designs, BOMs, and implementation specs for next-gen networks.
• Engage customers with presentations, demos, PoCs, and trials to influence decisions.
• Maintain strong relationships with IT decision-makers and partner community.
• Deliver training and support to industry partners and customer engineers.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive solutions.
