Job summary

Niche SSP - No.1 for Estimating Talent in New York/New Jersey is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Technology Engineer to join its team. You will work hands-on with estimating teams to prepare conceptual and detailed estimates, and develop interactive client-facing dashboards.

You will pilot AI-enabled workflows, improve access to historical cost data, and support digital tooling adoption across offices. Travel is under 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in data visualization technologies such as Power BI.
• Expertise in Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCAD, with knowledge of Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Strong proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
• Developing expertise in AI agents and workflow automation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to train teams on digital tools.
• Experience with Sage or Beck DESTINI Estimating and graphic design would be advantageous.
