Pfister Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager with strong solar PV and C&I DG experience to manage the full preconstruction lifecycle.

The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Finance, and will report to the Director of Preconstruction in Hawthorne, NJ with hybrid flexibility and travel to job sites as needed. The candidate will lead bid reviews, cost validations, and risk assessments while developing budgets and schedules in

Qualifications

• 3+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or PM in Solar EPC (C&I DG preferred).
• Experience with subcontractor tendering, bid-leveling, and contract negotiation.
• Experience reviewing solar PV designs (electrical, structural, civil) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with self-perform estimating is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate full preconstruction lifecycle: kickoff, Q&A, addenda, submission coordination.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, material counts, and system component validations.
• Develop bid comparisons, cost databases, and value‑engineering options.
• Lead RFP process, subcontractor prequalification, bid analysis and award recommendations.
• Set up preconstruction docs in Procore and handoffs to execution teams.
