Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in commercial construction with at least 2 years in solar PV.
• Proven experience managing the pre-construction process on renewables/infrastructure.
• Familiarity with solar design, permitting, interconnection, and utility coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, scheduling software (MS Project/Primavera), estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction efforts for solar EPC projects from concept to contract execution.
• Collaborate with development, estimating, design, permitting, procurement, and operations.
• Review solar designs for constructability, cost, and schedule implications.
• Develop and manage preliminary budgets and detailed cost estimates.
• Coordinate with internal estimating teams and subs to validate scope, pricing, and risk.
• Support bids and prepare pre-construction deliverables for stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and RFP responses.
