Evergreen Talent Partners seeks an experienced Preconstruction Project Manager for commercial solar, guiding projects from early design through permitting and turnover. You’ll coordinate Development, Engineering, Sales and Operations, ensure accurate scoping, and drive readiness to build with strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Bring 5+ years in preconstruction or PM roles, a background in solar, and proven ability to lead design reviews, manage stakeholders, and optimize constructability

Responsabilités

• Own projects from approximately 30% design through construction-ready design.
• Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, milestones and critical-path activities.
• Coordinate external engineering firms, architects, consultants, utilities and permitting authorities.
• Review designs and identify gaps, risks, constructability issues and outstanding due diligence.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate resolution of engineering issues and RFIs.
• Manage permitting activities and track approvals, comments and resubmissions.
• Monitor project costs, scope changes, long-lead equipment and procurement constraints.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve constructability and minimize construction risk.
• Engage Operations early and lead the preconstruction-to-construction handoff.
• Drive accountability across multiple stakeholders without direct supervisory authority.

Take projects from 30% design to construction-ready.

We’re looking for an experienced Preconstruction Project Manager with a background in commercial solar to take ownership of projects from development handoff through detailed engineering, permitting and turnover to Operations.

This is a highly collaborative role connecting Development, Engineering, Sales and Operation. You will make sure projects are properly scoped, engineered, permitted and ready to build.

What You’ll Do

• Own projects from approximately 30% design through construction-ready design.
• Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, milestones and critical-path activities.
• Coordinate external engineering firms, architects, consultants, utilities and permitting authorities.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years in preconstruction, project management, engineering coordination, construction management or a related field.
• Commercial solar experience required.
• Experience managing projects through design development, detailed engineering, permitting and construction turnover.
• Experience coordinating engineering consultants, contractors, utilities and permitting authorities.
• Background in renewable energy, energy services, design-build, infrastructure or mechanical/electrical systems.
• Strong ability to review design documents and identify risks, dependencies and constructability concerns.
• Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results across teams.
