You will lead negotiations, advise owners and design teams, and coordinate with suppliers and internal clients to position projects for success. Responsibilities include developing estimates, managing budgets, and guiding preconstruction schedules, while training staff and ensuring safety and EEO/affirmative action compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 5+ years in estimating, design management or field management.
• Experience with large-scale solar projects.
• Knowledge of cost modeling, cost trending, and GMPs in alternative delivery projects.
• Experience estimating self-perform disciplines and managing preconstruction teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid process as Bid Captain and run estimate/bid meetings.
• Build relationships with owners, subs, and vendors for McCarthy projects.
• Track and manage project budget and schedules.
• Prepare qualifications aligning with contract obligations and legal reviews.
• Oversee preconstruction and construction schedules; supervise staff training and risk programs.
• Present documentation to owners and participate in design coordination meetings.
