Qualifications

• 5–10 years of estimating experience in large multi-family residential, apartments, HUD, OFHA, or senior housing projects.
• Deep understanding of current market pricing for unit costs.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, create, and finalize comprehensive project estimates.
• Research materials, source alternatives, and develop value engineering ideas with cost implications.
• Build qualified subcontractor bid lists, solicit bids, and analyze submissions and scopes.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules and determine project staffing and general condition requirements.
• Complete detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Prepare professional cost presentations for clients.
