Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of estimating experience in large multi-family residential, apartments, HUD, OFHA, and senior housing.
• Deep understanding of current market pricing and unit pricing.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, create, and finalize comprehensive project estimates.
• Research materials, source alternatives, and develop value engineering ideas with costs.
• Build qualified subcontractor bid lists, secure bids, and analyze bids and scopes.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules and determine project staffing and general condition requirements.
• Complete detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Prepare professional presentation documents and present cost information to clients.
• Review, analyze, and correct estimates prepared by other team members.
