Job summary

Brinkman Construction is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead the preconstruction team and oversee estimating efforts on large, complex projects in the Denver area. You will guide design development through final construction documents, manage design/build and GMP approaches, and coordinate with project management and field staff.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in construction, strong leadership, and extensive knowledge of GMP, procurement, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of relevant construction estimating and preconstruction experience.
• Experience with major market segments and GMP/design-build delivery methods.
• Proven supervisory experience in preconstruction with minimal oversight.
• Knowledge of procurement, buyout processes, and scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts and direct reports for projects from $10M to $100M.
• Cultivate owner, designer, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
• Lead RFP/RFQ responses and demonstrate value-add of the preconstruction team.
• Organize project pursuits and communicate responsibilities and deadlines.
• Input and evaluate all costs during bid analysis and develop bid packages.
