Jobot is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead budgeting, estimation, and planning for multiple projects in a dynamic construction environment. You will manage contracts, procurement, and cost control while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure accurate schedules and bids.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in preconstruction, strong Excel capabilities, and proven negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Experience in preconstruction planning, budgeting, contract management, subcontracting, contract negotiation, project estimation, bidding, cost control, planning, and procurement.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and perform advanced data analysis.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preconstruction phase of all projects, ensuring comprehensive planning, budgeting, and accurate estimation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for preconstruction.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and site activities.
• Conduct risk assessments to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Review and negotiate contracts and subcontracts to protect company interests.
• Coordinate with procurement to secure materials and equipment cost-effectively.
• Implement cost-control measures to keep projects within budget.
• Utilize Excel to track progress, costs, and key metrics.
• Improve preconstruction processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
