Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction and cost estimating in a design-build environment. You will drive conceptual and final estimates, refine scope with owners and architects, and manage a preconstruction team to deliver winning bids.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in estimating, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency with take-off tools and MS Office. The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and professional growth within a growing firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction estimating with complex bids.
• Experience leading Estimators/preconstruction teams.
• Skilled at interpreting plans and specs to determine scope.
• Ability to develop complete cost estimates and bids.
• Experience with design-build projects and pricing refinement.
• Experience with bid-day adjustments and subcontractor relations.
• Proficient in MS Office and take-off software.
• Strong math and analytical skills; strong communication.

Responsabilités

• Determine the full scope and cost requirements for construction projects.
• Manage Estimators and/or preconstruction team members.
• Collaborate with preconstruction to establish project scope.
• Review and interpret plans, specs, drawings, and related docs.
• Develop and maintain overall construction cost estimates and bids.
• Lead design-build teams in refining project scope and pricing.
• Develop conceptual estimates from incomplete information.
• Lead meetings with Owners and Architects.
• Develop subcontractor and supplier relationships.
• Ensure proposals stay on track and meet deadlines.
