Qualifications

• 4+ years in a similar preconstruction role in construction.
• Experience in budgeting, contract management, subcontracting, bidding, and procurement.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the preconstruction phase for projects, ensuring planning, budgeting, and estimation are accurate.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for preconstruction.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules including site activities.
• Conduct risk assessments to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Review and negotiate contracts and subcontracts in the company’s best interest.
• Coordinate with procurement to obtain materials and equipment timely and cost-effectively.
• Implement cost controls to keep projects within budget.
• Leverage Excel to track and report progress, costs, and metrics.
• Continuously improve preconstruction processes for efficiency.
