Job summary

Daksta is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, cost planning, and design management for mission critical data centre projects in the United States.

You will guide cross-functional teams, develop budgets and cost models, and optimize value through VE, procurement strategies, and constructability reviews. Strong client-facing and leadership skills are essential to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
• Extensive experience in commercial construction with preconstruction and estimating leadership.
• Ability to lead teams delivering accurate, competitive estimates across complex projects.
• Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement, value engineering, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction and estimating activities for large-scale commercial and mission critical developments.
• Develop conceptual budgets, cost models, VE solutions, procurement strategies, and schedules from design to handover.
• Provide technical leadership to estimating and PM teams, ensuring cost accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
