The Weitz Company is seeking a Senior Pre-Construction Manager to support our Denver, CO office. You will lead the preconstruction team, estimate costs, and set up large complex projects for successful delivery while transitioning to operations as construction starts.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in estimating or project management within construction, leadership ability, and strong communication. Data center experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of estimating and/or project management experience in construction.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with leadership responsibilities.
• Data center project experience strongly preferred.
• Strong cost estimating, scheduling, and value analysis capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain client relationships to support business development and repeat work.
• Lead the full preconstruction process including estimating and scheduling.
• Provide accurate conceptual and detailed estimates and engage subs as needed.
• Oversee design-phase progress to ensure scope, budget, and goals align.
• Identify and mitigate risks through contract and market analysis.
• Integrate BIM, LEAN, and sustainability strategies into delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functionally and ensure timely input from internal teams.
• Prepare and maintain preconstruction and construction schedules; address delays proactively.
• Facilitate smooth handoffs from preconstruction to construction and participate in meetings.
