Job summary

The Beck Group in Denver is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Engineer to lead projects from $0M to $5M, overseeing estimation, takeoffs and early cost management. You will guide scopes of work, organize estimates using UniFormat/MasterFormat, and prepare professional preconstruction content for clients and teams.

You will utilize DESTINI Estimator, BIM360, Procore, Revit and Power BI to develop accurate pricing, manage documents and support the bid process while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant construction or preconstruction experience.
• Experience with DESTINI Estimator and/or DESTINI Profiler is a plus.
• Proficiency with BIM, Revit, BIM360 and Procore.
• Knowledge of MS Office and Power BI is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate quantity takeoffs and initial pricing.
• Independently estimate scopes of work (Interior, Envelope, Site, Structure).
• Organize and develop an estimate using UniFormat and MasterFormat.
• Develop and maintain project documents (estimates, drawings, models).
• Lead bid day processes and interact with subcontractors/vendors.
