Job summary

Moss is a national construction firm seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will lead budgets, GMPs, and takeoffs from concept through final contract award, coordinating with trade contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities include estimating, bid tab development, RFIs, risk management, and cost optimization across multiple trades to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of preconstruction experience on large commercial projects.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, and Zoom/coordination skills with trade contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects with estimating responsibilities and deadlines.
• Prepare comprehensive budgets and GMP under the Preconstruction Chief.
• Perform quantity surveying of materials and GSF using On Screen Take Off/Bluebeam.
• Develop bid tabs and cost savings by trade; review drawings and submit RFIs.
• Present design and pricing variances to Owners & A/E teams; manage constructability risks.
