Responsibilities include bid coordination, detailed takeoffs, bid evaluation, database management, proposal formatting, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or in a related field preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of experience as Senior Estimator.
• 6 to 9 years total experience in Preconstruction or Estimating.

Responsibilities

• Bid Coordination Support: Assist Preconstruction Managers with bid coordination tasks, bid invitations, subcontractor responses, and documents.
• Technical Estimating: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and develop estimates under senior staff guidance.
• Bid Evaluation: Perform initial reviews of subcontractor bids for completeness and alignment with project requirements.
• Database Management: Maintain the department's subcontractor/vendor database with current contact information.
• Proposal Creation: Assist in creating and formatting proposal documents and presentations to company standards.
• Team Support: Serve as a resource for estimators with guidance on best practices and software usage.
