Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 2 to 4 years of experience as Senior Estimator (preferred).
• 6 to 9 years total experience in Preconstruction or Estimating (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Bid Coordination Support: Assist Preconstruction Managers with bid coordination, bid invitations, tracking subcontractor responses, and bid documents.
• Technical Estimating: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and develop accurate estimates for specific trades under guidance.
• Bid Evaluation: Review subcontractor bids for completeness and alignment with project requirements.
• Database Management: Maintain subcontractor and vendor database with current contact information and qualifications.
• Proposal Creation: Assist in creating and formatting proposal documents and presentations.
• Team Support: Serve as a day-to-day resource for Estimators on best practices and software usage.
• Project Organization: Support bidding schedule with drawings and specifications organized and accessible.
• Subcontractor Communication: Primary point of contact for routine communications with subcontractors.
• Software Proficiency: Become SME in estimating software and related tools; train others.
• Process Documentation: Help create and maintain process docs and training materials.
