Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Able to read and understand project plans.
• Able to listen, prioritize, and value the opinions of others.

Responsibilities

• Work with preconstruction and project managers to develop accurate estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs of all construction systems.
• Create and monitor project estimate updates.

Skills

Knowledge of construction means and methods

Proficient with CSI and Uniformat II

Ability to perform accurate quantity take-offs

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel

Experience with commercial industrial and/or sitework estimating

Ability to teach skills and knowledge

Education

4 year engineering, architectural or management degree
