Scott Humphrey is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead design phase cost estimates for commercial and municipal projects. responsibilities include reading drawings and specs, identifying utility conflicts, performing take-offs, writing RFIs, and coordinating budgets and GMP targets.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of estimating and PreCon experience, municipal hard bid exposure, strong construction terminology knowledge, and MS Office proficiency; valid driver license and site access needed.

Qualificações

• 5–10 years estimating and PreCon experience.
• Municipal hard bid commercial projects experience.
• Strong understanding of construction terminology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; MS Outlook, Word, Excel; MC2 preferred.
• Valid Driver License and ability to commute to job sites.

Responsabilidades

• Estimating and lead estimating group on design phase cost estimates.
• Ability to read drawings, geo-tech reports and specifications.
• Identify Utility conflicts and Bypass areas.
• Perform quantity take-off of Pipe & Appurtenances/Concrete/Sitework, requiring quantity counts and linear measurement.
• Ability to formulate a unit price as needed.
• Solicit Subcontractor/Supplier participation via phone and/or E-mail.
• Write RFI’s to Engineers.
• Proficient in scope analysis and estimate deficiencies as needed.
• Project RFQ and RFP development.
• Establish project database for proposals.
• Create construction schedule for estimates in P6.
• Coordinate and establish the project budget (GMP).
• Projects ranging from 10 Million to 80 Million with hard deadlines.
• Developing and maintaining long term beneficial relationships with key vendors and subcontractors.
• Participate in pre and post construction review.
