Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Pewaukee, WI, seeks a Precision Tool & Machine Assembler with 5+ years building ground-up mechanical machines or 2+ years with precision toolmaking/fixture background. You will read complex blueprints, work with 3D CAD, and assemble high-value automation equipment on a 100% onsite shop floor.

This role features 1st shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime, a collaborative culture, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

5+ years building ground-up mechanical machines, or 2+ years with precision toolmaking/fixture background.
Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic systems and fluid power routing.
Ability to read, interpret and assemble from multi-page mechanical prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

Build and assemble complex custom automated machinery, cells, presses, and lines from the ground up.
Read and assemble from detailed mechanical drawings and fluid power schematics.
Use on-floor 3D CAD models to verify space, clearances and sub-assemblies.
Install pneumatic manifolds and hydraulic circuits on machine frames.
Fine-tune components to exact tolerances with toolmaking-level techniques.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot bottlenecks and resolve deviations.
Oversee teardown, crating, and preparation for customer transport.
