Qualifications

• 5+ years of ground-up mechanical machine builds or 2+ years with toolmaking/fixture background.
• Ability to read multi-page mechanical prints and fluid power schematics.
• Proficient use of hand/power tools and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Build, fit, align, and assemble diverse custom automated machinery from scratch.
• Interpret detailed mechanical drawings and pneu/hydraulic schematics to plan builds.
• Access on-floor 3D models to verify clearances and sub-assemblies.
• Lay out and mount pneumatic manifolds and hydraulic circuits.
• Shim, scrape, and tune components to exact tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot bottlenecks and deviations.
• Oversee teardown, packing, and crating for shipment.
