Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Precision Tool & Machine Assembler for on-site work in Pewaukee, WI. The role focuses on building complex, one-off automation systems using 3D CAD data and direct collaboration with engineers.

Requirements include 5+ years of ground-up mechanical machine building or 2+ years in precision toolmaking, with fluency in blueprints and fluid power. This is 1st-shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 100% onsite, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ground-up mechanical machine building, or 2+ years with precision toolmaking/background.
• Proven ability to read and assemble from multi-view mechanical drawings.
• Experience with fluid power piping and routing (pneumatics and hydraulics).
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
• Collaborative mindset to work with engineers on the floor.

Responsabilités

• Build, fit, align, and assemble diverse, high-value custom automated machinery and robotic cells from the ground up.
• Read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings and fluid power schematics to establish build sequencing.
• Use 3D CAD models at shop-floor workstations to verify fit and tolerances.
• Install pneumatic and hydraulic systems and route manifolds and valve blocks neatly on machine frames.
• Fine-tune components to exact tolerances using toolmaking techniques.
• Collaborate with engineers on-site to troubleshoot bottlenecks and resolve deviations.
• Oversee teardown, packing, and crating of machines for transport and installation.
