Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III, the senior quality authority responsible for establishing plant QC programs, preparing for PCI audits, and resolving prestressed product issues with the engineer of record. This role oversees Level I and II inspectors across multiple plants.

You'll audit supplier plants for owners and agencies, qualify precast suppliers, and drive compliance with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specifications.

Qualifications

• PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III, current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting audits.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies; qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
