Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector III to lead plant quality programs and ensure PCI/DOT compliance. The role involves auditing supplier plants, resolving acceptance questions, and developing Level I/II inspectors across multiple plants and projects.

The senior technician will drive PCI certification readiness, work with plant managers and engineers, and travel to project sites as needed. This position concentrates on precast and prestressed QC leadership.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification current.
• 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and hosting audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
