Job summary

Everpure is hiring a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support our Higher Education business with a focus on R1 research universities. You will be the technical lead on accounts in Texas, translating complex needs into storage and data platform solutions and building compelling business cases.

You will work with account managers, specialists and partners to secure technical wins, develop proofs of concept, and tailor conversations to researchers, CIOs and procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in technology, solution design and customer-facing roles.
• Pre-sales or customer-facing technical background required.
• Experience with higher education, research computing or public sector helpful.
• Knowledge of HPC/AI environments and related data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for Higher Education accounts in Texas.
• Translate customer needs into Everpure storage and data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with account teams, specialists and partners for the technical win.
• Develop and present business cases including TCO, power, cooling and ROI.
• Authorize evaluations, proofs of concept and system configurations.
