Job summary

Everpure is hiring a Consulting Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to lead technical strategy for top financial institutions. You will drive architecture, POC, lab evaluations and competitive bake-offs, while coordinating specialists and services to win multi-year platform decisions.

The role focuses on building AI infrastructure on data-at-rest, modernizing data platforms with resilience and cost efficiency, and engaging senior executives with precise technical input.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in enterprise infrastructure with customer-facing presales, solutions architecture or field engineering.
• Direct experience covering large financial services institutions is strongly expected.
• Hands-on command of enterprise block, file and object storage, data protection and replication.
• Fluency across virtualization, Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the technical account plan including architecture, constraints, roadmap and whitespace.
• Be the go-to technical counterpart for infrastructure architects and technology executives.
• Lead the technical side of complex pursuits from discovery through decision, including RFI/RFP responses and lab evaluations.
• Design the container, storage and data layer for AI at scale (GPU storage, inference, cache offload, analytics pipelines).
• Run data service motions around Kubernetes, OpenShift, NVMe over TCP, Ethernet block and object storage, ensuring cyber resilience.
• Coordinate with specialists, services and partner engineers to keep workstreams aligned on a single plan.
• Partner with the GAM on account planning, forecast and pipeline hygiene.
• Represent customer requirements back to product management to shape roadmap priorities.
