Job summary

Everpure, a data platform leader, is hiring a Consulting Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to own the technical strategy for top financial institutions. You will coordinate architects, platform teams, and leadership to drive multi-year platform decisions and competitive deals.

This role emphasizes AI infrastructure, data platforms, and cost-effective resilience. Across discovery to decision, you will design solutions, run proofs-of-concept, and orchestrate experts and services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure with 5+ in pre-sales or field engineering.
• Direct experience with large financial institutions.
• Hands-on storage and data protection experience.
• Fluency across virtualization, Kubernetes/OpenShift, networking, and at least one public cloud.
• Strong executive communication skills.
• Track record of winning technical evaluations against vendors.
• Familiarity with analytics and lakehouse platforms.
• Exposure to GPU infra and AI workloads.
• Certifications in Kubernetes/Cloud/NVIDIA preferred.
• Experience with Everpure FlashArray/FlashBlade/Portworx a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the technical account plan: the customer’s architecture, constraints and roadmap.
• Become the go-to technical counterpart for infrastructure architects, storage/ platform leaders, and executives.
• Lead the technical side of complex pursuits from discovery through decision.
• Help customers design the container, storage and data layer for AI at scale.
• Run motions around Kubernetes and OpenShift data services, NVMe over TCP, and data resilience.
• Pull in specialists and partner engineers and keep aligned on one plan.
• Partner with the GAM on account planning and pipeline hygiene.
• Represent requirements back to product management and shape roadmap input.
