Job summary

Apollo GraphQL is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer (Pre-sales) to join our remote, full-time team. You will own technical evaluations, architect multi-system solutions, and craft compelling demos that translate technical options into business value.

You’ll partner with Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering to de-risk deals, enable the field with reusable assets, and mentor junior SEs. Strong API, GraphQL, and MEDDPICC experience required and exceptional storytelling for executives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a pre-sales Solutions Engineering or equivalent technical customer-facing role on complex B2B SaaS or infrastructure products.
• Strong API/architecture experience across REST and GraphQL and cloud stacks.
• Storytelling to executives and detailed objection handling with MEDDPICC.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical evaluations end-to-end, leading discovery, workshops, and solution design for strategic accounts.
• Design and present multi-system architectures showing Apollo’s supergraph, GraphOS, and tooling in modern cloud environments.
• Lead demos and PoCs that translate technical capabilities into business value for developers, architects, and executives.
