Job summary

Turn Up Talent LLC seeks a Manager of Pre-Sales Engineering to lead quoting and internal project management, ensuring quotes are accurate, executable, and margin-protective. The role eliminates gaps between quoting, planning, and floor execution, leveraging deep manufacturing knowledge.

The candidate will manage the quoting/estimating team, standardize assumptions and routing, and drive cross-functional alignment with Operations to reduce risk and improve margin protection.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a CNC or technical role with sales support in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Deep understanding of CNC and additive manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to review/refine technical solutions, lead complex demos, address objections.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software; Aerospace/Defense experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the quoting/estimating team.
• Establish and enforce quoting standards: assumptions, routing logic, cycle time, setup, and labor models.
• Act as the technical authority on manufacturability during quoting.
• Guide quote-to-execution alignment and verify routings, setups, and process plans.
• Lead internal Project Managers and standardize PM workflows from order through delivery.
• Drive cross-functional integration between Quoting, PM, and Operations.
