Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead and develop our estimating and quoting function in support of a fast-paced engineer-to-order manufacturing environment. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Sales organization and the Estimating team, ensuring customer requests are properly vetted, accurately quoted, and delivered within expected timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in estimating, quoting, or related technical environments.
• 2+ years in leadership or team lead roles.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineer-to-order projects.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3+ Sales Estimators.
• Review RFQs to determine scope, priority, and resource needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, and PM for pricing assumptions.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and project docs for quote accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement of estimating tools, pricing models, and templates.
