Jobot in Durham, NC seeks a Plaintiff Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney to manage a dedicated personal injury caseload. Under the Partner, you will focus on pre-litigation advocacy, demand drafting, settlement negotiation, and high-touch client communication.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school, active NC Bar, 2–5 years of plaintiff-side pre-litigation experience (10 years considered). Spanish fluency preferred. Firm offers remote or hybrid work with strong bonus potential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active NC Bar license.
• 2–5 years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience.
• Fluency or strong preference for Spanish language.

Responsabilités

• Pre-Litigation Management: Manage the full lifecycle of plaintiff personal injury files (95% PI, with light Workers' Compensation exposure) from intake through resolution.
• Negotiation & Advocacy: Evaluate case merit, calculate damages, review medical records, draft demand letters, and negotiate directly with insurance adjusters.
• Client Relations: Maintain compassionate, transparent communication with clients, delivering high-level service throughout their recovery process.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of 7 experienced paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient file movement.
• Litigation Support: Provide occasional assistance on litigation matters when needed (depositions, motions, court appearances, or trial prep are a plus).
