BCG Attorney Search seeks a Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney to lead a pre-litigation docket in personal injury from our San Antonio, Texas office. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes settlement strategies and vigorous client advocacy without courtroom appearances.

You will guide intake, evaluate new cases, mentor staff and junior attorneys, oversee settlements and lien resolutions, and collaborate with leadership to refine pre-litigation strategies for optimal client outcomes.

A law firm seeks a Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their San Antonio, Texas office. This full-time, on-site role involves leading a pre-litigation docket in personal injury cases, focusing on settlement strategies and client advocacy without courtroom involvement.

Duties

• Lead strategy on liability, coverage, damages, and valuation from intake through settlement.
• Evaluate new cases for progression, rejection, or special handling.
• Guide treatment strategies and ensure medical build-up supports cases.
• Review and approve all demands before submission.
• Set and oversee settlement parameters and negotiations.
• Ensure accurate lien and subrogation resolution.
• Mentor and supervise support staff and junior attorneys.
• Advocate for clients during treatment and settlement discussions.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine pre-litigation strategies.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• 8+ years of legal experience, with significant personal injury expertise.
• Proven track record in valuing and settling personal injury cases.
• Strong strategic judgment and ability to manage a robust docket.
• Knowledge of lien resolution to maximize client outcomes.
• Demonstrated leadership in a high-volume legal environment.
• Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience with catastrophic injury, wrongful death, or commercial cases; Spanish speaking a plus.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Texas.
