A law firm seeks a Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This full-time, on-site role involves leading a pre-litigation docket in personal injury cases, focusing on settlement strategies and client advocacy without courtroom involvement.

Duties

• Lead strategy on liability, coverage, damages, and valuation for personal injury cases.
• Evaluate new cases and decide on progression or special handling.
• Guide treatment strategies and ensure medical build-up supports cases.
• Review and approve all demands before submission.
• Settle cases and manage negotiations with adjusters.
• Oversee lien and subrogation resolutions to protect client interests.
• Mentor junior attorneys and supervise support staff.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to refine pre-litigation strategies.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• 8+ years of legal experience, with a focus on personal injury.
• Proven track record in valuing and settling personal injury cases.
• Strong strategic judgment and leadership skills.
• Fluency in resolving hospital, health-plan, ERISA, Medicare, and Medicaid liens.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with legal technology and case management software.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Education
