Job summary

E-J Electric Installation Co. is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager for the Clean Energy division.

This remote role owns the preconstruction phase from award through mobilization, serving as the link between estimating and project execution to ensure scope, budget, schedule, and constructability are carried into the field. You will lead constructability reviews, budgeting, procurement coordination, and LEAN process implementation, reporting to the Division Manager and supporting single-point

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years electrical construction estimating, design/build estimating, and preconstruction experience.
• Minimum of 2–3 years project management experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, and specs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead constructability reviews, estimates and scope validation at/after award.
• Coordinate estimating and project execution teams to ensure bid assumptions carry into field.
• Prepare budgets, estimates, and bid proposals with cost analysis.
• Support permitting and milestone tracking for clean energy projects.
• Implement LEAN concepts for continuous improvement in preconstruction.
