Job summary

SOLVE Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead the Preconstruction Group from notice of award to mobilization. The role is fully remote with travel ~25%.

You will manage cost control, CMiC setup, bid packages, and cross‑functional coordination across engineering, accounting, construction, and legal teams to define scope and ensure on‑time, on-budget delivery. Minimum requirements include an engineering/construction degree (or equivalent experience), 5–8 years field

Qualifications

• Engineering/CM degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong plan/schedule review and cost control understanding.
• Field experience in construction (5–8 years) and scheduling/estimating (2+ years).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and lead remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to define contract scopes.
• Track changes impacting schedule/budget and report to leadership.
• Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration.
