Responsibilities

• Manage the office’s front-line non-exempt staff including interviewing, hiring, training, discipline, and performance appraisals.
• Schedule staff and allocate resources to maximize patient access, provider productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct supply purchasing within budget using online ordering systems.
• Report monthly productivity results to providers and staff.
• Ensure data collection accuracy and facilitate information flow to Northwestern Medicine Central Office.
• Oversee cash handling, co-pays, patient balances, and cash management to influence profitability.
• Participate in corporate committees and task forces.
• Provide financial analysis to support planning and cash flow management.
• Communicate budget and variance information to staff.
• Identify training opportunities by understanding each job function.
• Set priorities, timelines, and accountabilities for resource optimization.
• Collaborate with senior management to define performance goals and monitor progress.
