Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee operations at our Lake Forest, Grayslake, and Glenview locations, supervising clinical and administrative staff. This role ensures patient access, provider productivity, and operational efficiency across sites.

The successful candidate will coordinate scheduling, budgeting, data accuracy, and cash management while working with senior leaders to set goals and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years health care experience.
• Experience working in a clinical environment.
• Outpatient setting experience.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the office's front-line non-exempt staff, including interviewing, hiring, training and performance evaluations.
• Schedule staff and allocate resources to maximize patient access and provider productivity.
• Oversee supply purchasing within budget using the group's online system.
• Report monthly productivity results to providers and stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely data entry across sites.
• Oversee cash management activities, co-pays and balances.
• Participate in corporate committees and task forces.
• Provide financial analysis to support planning and cash flow.
• Communicate budget and variance information to staff.
• Identify training needs and developmental opportunities for staff.
• Define priorities and ensure efficient resource use with senior management.
