Job summary

UTMB Health is seeking a Senior Practice Manager to join our multi-disciplinary management teams guiding medical practices and delivering high-quality patient care with a strong customer service focus. The role partners with Area Medical Directors to support patient needs, clinical departments, and the Group Practice in alignment with UTMB's mission.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in health care or business administration with at least five years of supervisory health-care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in health care setting with supervisory experience.
• Masters degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines non-clinical personnel requirements and position competencies for the practice.
• Continuously monitors staffing levels and adjusts to meet objectives.
• Interviews, hires and orients non-clinical personnel.
• Manages budgets and monitors revenue/expenses for the practice.
• Maintains effective communication with staff, patients and management.
