Job summary

onX is seeking a Senior Public Relations Manager to shape how customers, media, and industry audiences see our Offroad and Backcountry products. You will own the earned media program, translate priorities into clear narratives, and lead agency support to strengthen onX’s reputation across endemic, regional, and national audiences.

This senior IC role sets direction, builds media relationships, develops stories, and measures impact.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in public relations or earned media with ownership of complex programs.
• Ability to translate product, customer, and business priorities into narratives.
• Experience directing agency partners in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Own PR strategy for Offroad and Backcountry and oversee agency partners.
• Lead storytelling, media engagement, and proactive pitching to major outlets.
• Advise stakeholders on narrative, timing and reputational risk across teams.
• Measure impact, monitor trends, and integrate AI-enabled tools for insights.
