Job summary

onX is seeking a Senior Public Relations Manager to shape how customers, media, and industry audiences understand our Offroad and Backcountry products. You will own the earned media program, lead the agency, and translate priorities into narratives that earn coverage across endemic, regional, and national audiences.

You'll build media relationships, advise stakeholders, and measure success, partnering with Product, Growth, Community, and other leaders to integrate earned media into go-to-market

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of progressive experience in public relations, communications, or earned media.
• Ability to set PR direction and personally execute work, including research and pitching.
• Strong journalist relationships and a track record of securing coverage.

Responsibilities

• Own PR strategy for Offroad and Backcountry and align priorities with business goals.
• Lead storytelling, media engagement, and proactive pitching to national and regional outlets.
• Integrate earned media into product launches, campaigns, and initiatives across teams.
• Measure impact, monitor trends, and manage risk with crisis communications in mind.
• Collaborate with Product, Growth, Community, and Paid Marketing; lead agency partners.
