Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Senior Manager of Public Relations to lead earned and organic campaigns for its appliance and electronics brands. You will collaborate with local marketing teams, agencies, and the Global PR group to raise awareness of new product launches and drive market share.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in consumer PR, deep media relations experience, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives, travel up to 25%, and deliver data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 8+ years of relatable consumer Public Relations experience with demonstrated success in product media relations.
• Experience with the earned and new media landscape with an ability to shape planning with agency partners.
• Passion for and/or experience in consumer electronics and technology.
• Up to 25% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Drive PR activities for Samsung's and Dacor's appliances line up - end to end planning, strategy and execution of multi-touch campaigns.
• Analyze real-time trends in culture relevant to the Samsung target consumer to inform campaigns.
• Oversee content calendar planning across PR and media influencer.
• Direct management of PR agency partners - briefs, project management, contracts and billings.
• Develop strategy and attend industry events to drive buzz for the brand and products.
• Effective project management with clear communications across all stakeholders to ensure flawless execution.
• Create and manage dashboards to measure PR impact and drive product conversion.
• Creative thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
