Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide seeks a Powerplant Program Manager to oversee multi-million dollar Powerplant programs, ensuring safety, airworthiness, and reliability. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, logistics, and vendor performance while aligning with company policies and industry standards.

The role requires strong engineering background, extensive aerospace Powerplant experience, and the ability to engage with customers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies to drive optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• B.S. Engineering/Technical Engineering Degree required.
• 10 years aerospace experience with Aircraft Maintenance experience preferred.
• 5-7 years Aircraft Powerplant experience with Powerplant Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with aircraft engine systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned Powerplant programs within the heavy maintenance services budget.
• Prioritize Powerplant Planning and Program actions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Report on project status and present issues to be resolved.
• Issue instructions and documents to support safe, airworthy return to service.
• Coordinate material and tooling requirements with Atlas Air department and vendors.
• Monitor program performance, costs, quality, and schedule; visit on-site as needed.
