Job summary

D.O.M. magazine is seeking a Powerplant Program Manager to support the Maintenance department by providing resources and record keeping to improve plant productivity.

The role does not require you to perform physical maintenance on aircraft, but you will manage schedules, reports, and vendor interfaces. You will forecast shop visits, coordinate downtime, track performance metrics, and ensure program compliance while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License is required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship is required.
• Background check including employment, education and criminal history.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize multiple projects while improving processes.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and tracking tools to monitor progress.
• Forecast and coordinate a maintenance schedule.
• Produce a maintenance schedule or a fuel plan.
• Oversee execution of your plan or schedule.
• Interface with OEM programs and manage warranty claims.
• Track engine performance and downtime; advise maintenance teams.

Job description

Summary and Objective
The Powerplant Program Manager assists the Maintenance department in providing the necessary maintenance resources and record keeping that is required to increase plant productivity. This position will not require physical maintenance to be performed on the aircraft.
Essential functions

• Identify and prioritize multiple projects and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes.
• Preparation of reports, metrics, and other tracking tools will allow this employee to succeed.
• Forecast and coordinate a schedule.
• Produce a maintenance schedule or a fuel plan.
• Overseeing the execution of your plan or schedule.
• Evaluating proposals for the expansion or updating of your schedule.
• Monitoring any inconsistencies and making adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Reporting on progress and any issues that emerge.
• Providing technical support to Maintenance Control
• Filing warranty claims with Power/AUX Advantage, MSP, ESP, JSSI
• Manages turbine engine lifecycle (off-wing, overhaul, inspection, replacement)
• Interfaces with OEM programs: MSP, ESP, JSSI, PowerAdvantage, etc.
• Drives warranty claim submission and recovery
• Tracks performance metrics and engine reliability
• Forecasts shop visits and plans downtime accordingly
• Advises maintenance and control teams on engine-related strategy
• Maintains program compliance & cost tracking

Requirements:

Required education and experience

• High School diploma or Equivalent
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License

• Aviation experience with a strong background in turbine engines
• Experience with CAMP, VERYON, MS EXCEL, WORD, CORRIDOR
• Experience with Cessna Citation series aircraft
• Experience with Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell, Rolls Royce, Williams International engines and APU’s
