Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical power transmission design experience in consulting engineering.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; PE license required.
• Experience with SCADA systems and renewable energy integration.
• Familiarity with NESC, AXCE, IEEE and GIS data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Complete project scope of work per discipline under the direction of a Project Manager.
• Design and develop high-voltage transmission lines and related infrastructure.
• Conduct load flow and stability studies to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with utilities and stakeholders to plan transmission projects.
• Analyze electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accuracy.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for electrical design elements.
• Prepare design deliverables for SD, DD, CD level documents.
• Provide cost opinions for budgeting construction and change orders.
• Support construction administration including RFI responses and submittal reviews.
