Job summary

The Osborn Engineering Company seeks a Director of Power Engineering with 15+ years of experience for our Cleveland, OH area operations. This leadership role reports to the Great Lakes Division Leader and focuses on growing the power business across the Midwest while delivering high-quality substation design and engineering services.

The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of high/medium voltage systems, NEC/NESC/IEEE expertise, and strong regional leadership to develop talent,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of power design experience in consulting engineering.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, IEC.
• Experience with substations including high/medium voltage equipment and wiring.
• Leadership and business development experience in an engineering context.
• Ability to mentor and develop regional Power teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Region for the Facilities Power team and develops client relationships across market sectors.
• Develops regional growth, forecast, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with leaders.
• Oversees power project performance and ensures quality proposals and designs.
• Mentors team members and coordinates with senior engineers for specialized tasks.
• Represents Osborn in the Power market to expand the regional portfolio.
• Ensures adherence to client standards and design codes across projects.
