Eightelevengroup seeks a Senior Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to lead design from concept to construction on large-scale power projects. This on-site, direct-hire role blends technical leadership with client-facing responsibilities.

The role requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree, PE license, 7+ years of overhead transmission experience, and proficiency with PLS-CADD. Join a growing Power Delivery practice and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; ability to obtain/transfer in Florida.
• 7+ years of overhead transmission line experience.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and transmission design tools.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, NERC, FERC standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission line design from concept through construction support.
• Prepare equipment specs, data sheets, RFQs, and bids.
• Conduct conductor selection, clearance and grounding studies.
• Adhere to NESC, NERC, FERC standards on projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage client communications.
