Job summary

MasTec Power Delivery is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead foundation scopes for major transmission line and substation projects. You will ensure safe, on-schedule, within-budget delivery and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, Project Controls, subcontractors, and customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive project management experience in construction.
• Experience with transmission, substation, utility infrastructure, heavy civil, or large-scale foundation construction preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders and forecasts.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for transmission and substation foundation scopes from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Oversee foundations for transmission structures, substations, equipment, steel structures, and related civil work.
• Coordinate engineering, surveying, geotechnical requirements, material procurement, equipment, labor, and subcontractor activities.
• Partner with field leadership to establish efficient construction methods and production plans.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including scope, performance, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Monitor project performance and address risks related to schedule, cost, resource, and technical aspects.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve design issues and field changes.
• Ensure timely availability of concrete, reinforcing steel, anchor bolts, and other components.
• Maintain relationships with customers, utilities, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and report on cost, schedule, safety, quality, progress, and risks.
• Manage change orders, documentation, forecasting, and commercial issues.
